Suzanne Collins, author of the Hunger Games

Suzanne Collins, a very accomplished writer, is the author of the Hunger Games.  Along with the Hunger Games series, she has written a number of other books. One of her most notable series other than the Hunger Games is the Underland Chronicles.  This series started with Gregor the Overlander and has been a bestseller since. This New York Times Bestseller author continues to write. She also continues to describe the affects of violence and war and it's affect on those coming of age.  Currently, she lives with her family in Connecticut and I'm sure her fans are thirsting for more of her writings!
